The piece that captivated me the most was the display of 19th-century Aboriginal shields. These shields not only reflect traditional Indigenous craftsmanship but also embody the cultural resilience of Aboriginal communities in the face of colonization. Their intricate designs and historical significance evoke a sense of deep connection to Australia's land and its peoples' resistance.

Additionally, I found the juxtaposition of these shields with modern Australian art fascinating.
